Frogs and Snails and Puppy Dogs Tails

I finished Cohen's quilt last night, so thought I would share a picture. His mother decorated his room in a frog theme, so I went with "Frogs and Snails and Puppy Dogs Tails". The back is flanelette, and is printed with paw prints. I hope he likes it. I made a label with all the info and sewed it to the back. I have a difficult time with creativity. In the end, I fell in love with a pattern that is on the cover of the latest "Quiltmaker All Time Favorites" magazine. I had to customize it to make it crib size, so it is wider and longer than the pattern in the magazine, and has a few animals added.
Cheers for now,

  1. That quilt is just darling! I love it, and you did a great job! I especially love the turtle on there. I am a turtle fanatic.

  2. Judy, the quilt is soooo cute! Great Job!

  3. This is wonderful and you are creative!

  4. What a beautiful and precious quilt...but I am sure it's not half as beautiful nor precious as its little owner! You are most certainly a gifted and yes!creative quilter and it's so very obvious, a loving Nana, as well! Thank you so very much for being a visitor to my blog! I treasure the opportunity to 'meet'new online quilters and be able to visit their blogs and get to know them! With Heart and Hands Michele

  5. Judy, I am so sorry that you were unable to get **Add my widget to your blog to link directly to all of my free pattern links! to add in for you! Google is just playing games with you and you need to try again. Click each link first to make sure they work (they did for me)so the html leads to 1)the post and 2)the cartoon graphic and then follow the directions for inclusion in the layout setting for adding a html picture link. I don't have an email for you, send me your email addy and let me know if you got it to work! Michele

  6. Well, as the father of the soon-to-be-recipient, and the son of the quilter, I couldn't be more proud of this quilt! He will have it cherish it for many many years. Thank you VERY much Mom. :-)

    Love, Kevin.
